Original drawing by painter and graphic designer Andre van der Vossen. Van der Vossen is one of the leading artist in The Netherlands after the WOII. Although Van der Vossen was modest about his work, he was involved in almost all important events of the Vije Beelden and Creation groups in the Netherlands.
Shortly after the war he was influenced by Klee and Kandinsky. Since 1947 he created oil paintings, gouaches and collages, mainly strictly geometric, but later also more abstract expressionist. In 1950, together with Willy Boers and others, he founded the Creation group. Van der Vossen had many exhibitions in Paris, the Salon Réalités Nouvelles, The Hague, Brussels and Amsterdam. He died in Overveen in 1963.
