Bolder shaped Abstract sculpture in white marble, 1960s

1,250.00

Abstract stone sculpture, The Netherlands 1960s.

Impressive boulder shaped sculpture with very interesting lines and geometric planes in different angles which gives the sculpture a very dynamic appearance. The piece is sculpted out of one piece of solid marble with an incredible grain and some beautiful characteristic cracks. The sculpture stands on a heavy grey stone base, which is making a nice contrast with the white marble. Outstanding piece in excellent condition

An intruding abstract sculpture in an abstract geometric shape. A playful interpretation of an open & closed volume, reminiscent of the works Fritz Wotruba, Isamu Noguchi and Henry Moore. It’s size and composition make the sculpture as a strong spatial presence. Handcarved out a stone, granite, leaving surfaces rough while others are plotted.

The sculpture is in an excellent original condition Highly decorative item. Marked: unsigned
