Partners in business and life Kiki and Joost work individually or jointly in a self-built and energy-efficient workshop. They met while studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven and founded the studio in 2001 to become one of the most accomplished names in Dutch design.
This piece is a beautiful marriage of the two creative minds: technical innovation by Joost with the subtle eye for detail and color by Kiki. This folding screen has movable panels to create changing compositions.

“Joost van Bleiswijk and Kiki van Eijk took the assignment for the full interior of a newly established lunchroom in the centre of Eindhoven. From the tables to the wallhangings from the cutlery to the chocolates, all was designed by Joost and Kiki. Breakfast, lunch, take-away, Lunchroom De Binnenstad has it all; ingredients of top quality, carefully selected wines, biological dairy, and an impressive and hospitable interior, with amongst others colored handknotted lamps of Kiki and heavy welded steel tables from Joost. “
