Jan Hoog (1923-) Abstract organic wooden sculpture, 1970s

Impressive abstract wooden sculpture, The Netherlands, 1970s.
This amorpfe sculpture consists of round, flowing shapes and openings. The three-dimensional shape makes it an interesting piece from all angles with a very dynamic appearance. When the light changes, the appearance of the sculpture changes. This abstract sculpture is hand carved out of one piece of solid wood with a stunning grain and beautiful characteristic cracks, it gained a nice warm saturated patina over the years.
