Jan van der Vaart is one of the most influential Dutch ceramists of the 20th century, known as founder of the abstract-geometric ceramics in the Netherlands.This vase with its sleek torsion body a great example of this continuous search for new and interesting forms, playing with optical illusions.

This is an exceptional example in an elegant bronze color. Van der Vaart produced his multiples only in editions of 20.
