Monumental Constructivist Geometric sculpture, wood, 1980s

Large geometric-abstract sculpture by Jan Hoog, possibly made as a special commission for the City of The Hague. This piece has its roots in the abstract by the artists of De Stijl with their geometric-abstract language of form. It demonstrates a combination of architecture and sculpture, reminiscent of skyscrapers.
