In 1958 Dutch architect Wim den Boon was asked to design a private interior in Wassenaar. In collaboration with the clients he created a few simple but unique pieces. This lamp is a very rare lighting design by this designer, he is known for his chairs, cabinets and other wooden pieces of furniture. Together with the client’s wife, a ceramist, he designed this lamp and had it been made at the famous Gispen factory. A truly unique piece of early dutch modernist design.
