A unique prototype chair by Dutch post-war architect Joop Rutjes (1937-2017). Next to his work as an architect, Rutjes experimented throughout his career with chair designs. His special interest had asymmetric compositions with 3 legs, like this one, and reversible designs (chairs both lounge and dining height). The Millen House acquired a large part of the archive of this undiscovered but interesting architect, including drawings, scale models (a lot of chairs) and real-life furniture.
