A small sculpture, titled “Equilibrium” by Dutch artist Henk van Putten (1936 – 2019). This sculpture is a great example of Van Puttens search for new shapes, based on existing geometric shapes. Henk van Putten uses a very limited number of basic shapes: the circle, the square and the triangle. He reformed these ancient geometric basic shapes through manipulation into surprising and interesting new shapes.
