GLUE Amsterdam: connected by design

During GLUE, the Project Room hosts Antwerp-based Studio DO for their first solo presentation in the Netherlands. Working with natural stone and minimal interventions, the studio creates sculptural, functional objects that move between furniture, object and sculpture.

/ On Thursday morning, the gallery welcomes back its annual GLUE Breakfast, a tradition of the past few years. This year, The Millen House teams up with local bakery LOUF for pastries and breakfast bites — a moment to reconnect with Amsterdam’s design community after the summer.

/ On Friday, Studio DO hosts a special evening of drinks alongside the launch of ANDO, The Millen House’s own furniture collection. Developed from the aluminium tables used in the gallery for the past years, ANDO is a modular, flat-pack system in solid brushed aluminium with interchangeable tops, launching during GLUE with new variations and a first drop of tabletops.

Throughout GLUE, visitors are invited to discover the new space, Studio DO’s presentation and The Millen House’s wider collection of vintage and contemporary art and design — and, above all, to meet, have a drink and reconnect.
