THE MILLEN HOUSE — OPENING
The Millen House opened its new space in Amsterdam West with a group exhibition where art & design come together.
.
The presentation brings together 20th-century works and contemporary positions, centred on material, identity, and the human body. Sculptural objects, furniture, and artworks are placed in dialogue—moving between function and autonomy, and showing how form and meaning shift across time.
The exhibition unfolds across three distinct spaces. A curated living room presents a personal selection from Niek Schoenmakers, combining artworks and design in a more intimate, domestic setting. The library introduces archival works and key references, while the project room features a site-specific installation.
The opening marks a new phase for The Millen House, with a broader programme of exhibitions, events and collaborations.
