PRESENT: Openings exhibition

PRESENT marks the opening of The Millen House's new gallery and project space in Amsterdam West. Bringing together 20th-century and contemporary art, design and sculpture, the exhibition explores how presence is formed through relationships: between objects and bodies, architecture and memory, material and meaning.

Rather than following a chronological or disciplinary narrative, the exhibition unfolds as a sequence of encounters. Historical and contemporary works are placed in dialogue, revealing unexpected connections across generations and mediums. Furniture, sculpture, painting, works on paper and collectible design coexist within a series of domestic and experimental settings, inviting visitors to move through the exhibition as they would through a lived space.
